Project Construction Timeline Update

The demolition of the existing Blakeley Village and Laurel Village buildings is scheduled to begin on November 3, 2025, with overall construction completion anticipated between Q2 and Q3 of 2028.

This redevelopment will bring new University of Washington-affiliated student housing, enhanced open spaces, and improved neighborhood connections.

Throughout the construction period, our team is committed to maintaining open communication with the surrounding community. Neighbors directly adjacent to the site will receive advance notices of key construction phases, and regular updates will be shared via this website and email.

While we work to minimize disruption, please note that construction activities may generate noise, dust, and traffic adjustments at times. All work will be conducted within permitted city hours and safety guidelines.
