Laurel Village, is an existing 80-unit family facility, expected to be demolished by November 2025 and replaced with a 341-unit graduate and student family apartment-style complex with a targeted completion date of Spring 2028.

Affordable Units: 33 units (25 2BR and 8 3BR) will be designated for eligible UW student families and leased at rates that are 30% of 50% of AMI in accordance with HUD guidelines established for King County, WA.

Demographic: UW Students, UW Faculty, UW Staff, UW Medical Center and Seattle Children’s Hospital Employees

Lease Type: The property will offer 12-month lease terms on a per-unit basis.

  • Public amenities include a childcare center, immediate access to mass transit, a short walk to the Burke-Gilman Trail (<0.2 miles), proximity to the UW Campus (<1 mile), and direct adjacency to the UW Horticulture Center that includes walking trails along Lake Washington
